Hello mates!

My name is Henry – a street, landscape, and travel photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Photography, for me, has always been about more than taking pictures. It is about slowing down, paying attention, and finding stories in moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.

My photography journey began with a simple curiosity about the world around me. Over time, that curiosity grew into a way of expressing how I see and experience places, people, light, colour, and everyday life.

I’m drawn to moments that feel honest and unplanned — a stranger passing through a frame, the glow of a street at night, movement caught at just the right moment, or a quiet landscape that makes me stop and look twice. I don’t always know what I’m looking for when I go out with my camera. Sometimes, the best photographs happen when I simply stay open to what is happening in front of me.

I primarily shoot with Fujifilm cameras, and I’ve developed a particular love for film-inspired colours and the character they bring to an image. Experimenting with Fujifilm film simulations and recipes has become part of my creative process, allowing me to shape photographs that feel nostalgic, cinematic, and personal.

But ultimately, the camera is only a tool.

What matters most to me is the story behind the photograph — the feeling it creates and the memory it preserves.

Through my photography, I want to share my own visual stories and invite people to see familiar places and ordinary moments from a slightly different perspective.
